Deep Reference is an app that lets you search and read encyclopedia articles from Grokipedia. Your privacy is important. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. It is published by AI GLOBAL VENTURES, S.L.
What is Deep Reference
Deep Reference is a reader that lets you search for topics and read the corresponding articles sourced from Grokipedia. It does not create the content it displays.
No account required
The app does not require you to register or sign in.
It does not ask for your name, email address, password, or payment details.
The publisher does not create user profiles and does not sell information to third parties.
How your searches are processed
When you search or open an article, the terms you enter are sent to our backend server solely to fetch matching results from Grokipedia and return them to you.
Search terms are used only to serve your request and are not linked to your identity.
Optionally, our backend may use an AI service to improve the resolution of search results when a direct match is not found.
Technical data
Our servers may temporarily log standard technical information (such as the request's IP address and timestamps) for security, abuse prevention, and diagnostics.
These logs are kept only as long as necessary for those purposes and are then deleted or anonymized.
Local storage
Any reading history or favorites you create are stored locally on your device only.
This data is not synced to any server controlled by the publisher.
If you use iCloud backup or device migration, Apple's standard backup mechanisms apply and are governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Third-party services
Grokipedia — the source of the article content displayed in the app.
xAI — optionally used to improve search result resolution.
Hosting provider — runs the backend infrastructure that serves the app.
These third parties process data under their own privacy policies. No personally identifiable data is shared with them beyond what is necessary to fulfil your request.
Analytics and tracking
Deep Reference does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries.
No behavioural data is collected, profiled, or sold to third parties.
Data sales
The publisher does not sell personal data. No personal information is shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Children
Deep Reference is not directed at children under 13. The publisher does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Deep Reference after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
